Jewish Heart for Africa- Summer Gala

Attended the Gala last night. Quite a cool location (Westside Loft on 37th St) and party, and lots of people (250 or so I would guess). I didn’t get to meet the Ethiopian Ambassador, but I did meet a couple of guys from Somalia. Add that to my recent Friday night dinner with a Pakistani Muslim, and I am becoming quite cosmopolitan…

Congratultions to Sivan Borowich and the whole JHA crew!

  1. I assume you have spent so much time helping Sderot and Israeli development towns that now you directed your energies toward Africa?

  2. cyberdov says:

Actually, this project DOES help Israel by buying its solar energy technology (not to mention goodwill in working with African countries and NGOs).
Is it your position that Jews should not do anything to help non-Jews?
